Supply Chain Management (SCM)
SCM lowers costs and improves the quality of the logistics processes between supplier and customer
The concept Supply Chain Management includes planning and management in the entire supply chain, from the manufacturer through to the customer. The supply chain begins in the manufacture, or the supplier’s distribution centre, and finishes in the customer’s warehouse, or in retail business. e-integration, with a modular offer, supports all the core functions of the supply chain through electronic data exchange between individual stages in the supply chain, and offers co-operative logistics between all those involved.
- Integrated Supply Chain closely integrates cross-company processes between suppliers and purchasers.
- Vendor Managed Inventory reduces stocks in the entire supply chain, with an increased service level for customers. Losses in turnover due to stock-outs are avoided.
- With tour planning freight which increases the number of vehicles used is avoided, and transport costs are lowered, with lower impact on the environment.
- Co-Loading combines freight from several shipping agents, and thus reduces transport costs while increasing delivery frequency and providing an improved service level.
